Maine Sales Rep Wanted for Leading LED Manufacturer (Maine)
Maine Sales Representative wanted for state of the art LED lighting manufacturer. This is a commission based opportunity to work for one of the proven leaders in the industry. We are looking to expand our distribution network throughout the USA and abroad and need your help. This would be business to business and direct business to client sales opportunity. With the high cost of energy and the Go Green movement there is no better time to get into this industry. The growth and earning potential is unlimited. Sales, closing experience is helpful and your ability to form and build relationships make it all happen.Duties to include
1. Present and sell company products and services to business to business clients.
2. Prepare action plans and identify specific targets markets.
3. Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity, website and referrals.
4. Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts for new clients from templates provided.
5. Assist in the resolution of client issues and concerns.
6. Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
7. Manage account services through quality checks and other follow-up.
8. Communicate new product and service opportunities to present and new clients. Communicate new opportunities presented in the field to management.
9. Coordinate the work with manufacturer required to close sales.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
? Participate and plan marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, webinars etc.
? Follow-up for collection of payment when necessary.
? Assist in the coordination shipping schedules and delivery of merchandise and services.
? Provide product training to new clients and on-going training to current clients.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
1. Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. The ability to use excel, word and MS power point and desktop software. Internet experience, contact management. The ability to learn and understand basic electrical principals and the ability sell a moderate to high tech product line.
2. Ability to persuade and influence others. Ability to develop and deliver presentations. Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of or the ability to learn basic advertising and sales promotion techniques. This is normally acquired through a combination of the completion of formal studies and or three to five years of sales or marketing experience.
3. Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public.
4. Work requires significant local travel to current and potential clients. This requires the possession of a valid state drivers license within 60 days of employment.
5. Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule based on need. You will be your own boss and must be able to work unattended and unsupervised.
